Unfamiliar World

....In this series I'm not here to express myself, I'm here by way of my detachment – a view of the city from outside human associations. When a photographer looks to take a photo, there are angels or compositions that are probable - compositions that reflect one's life, compositions that reflect motive, compositions that display skill and then there is that which is outside of these causes... My compositions are reached perhaps by some other factor that I don't completely understand - that which makes me an artist.
....When I get into this mental state all buildings around me become suddenly unfamiliar. What was mundane is new, devoid of original meaning and beautiful. I let go of conscious control, I enter the sky where my lens becomes the eye of a being who is completely unfamiliar with this world. A being who knows the city like the wind does.
